Oral health is closely connected to overall health and well-being, yet many rural communities continue to face significant barriers to accessing dental care. This webinar will provide a comprehensive overview of the current oral health landscape in rural Missouri, including workforce shortages, disease burden, and patterns of oral health care utilization.

Participants will gain insight into the unique challenges affecting rural populations and learn about current initiatives and innovative strategies being implemented by the Missouri Office of Dental Health to improve access to care across the state. The session is designed to increase understanding of oral health as a critical component of whole-person health and highlight ongoing efforts to strengthen oral health outcomes in rural Missouri.
