EMPOWERING PROVIDERS TO USE BEST PRACTICES FOR MENTAL HEALTH CARE


ECHO uses videoconferencing to connect interdisciplinary teams of experts in adult psychiatry, psychiatric pharmacology, psychology, community health and peer support, with other healthcare professionals. Together, they develop advanced skills and best practices through collaboration and case-based learning in an “all teach, all learn” environment. Join these sessions every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month from noon to 1:00 p.m.

PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ABLE TO:
• Improve the capacity of care teams in screening, identifying, diagnosing, referring, and medical management of mental disorders
• Enhance awareness of an ability to access resources available for managing all aspects of
mental health disorders
• Identify strategies to effectively incorporate mental health into routine visits/care within
the community
• Implement strategies for recognizing and managing stigma
• Navigate factors that contribute to mental health disparities
• Improve the physical well-being of patients
