This session will explore the Missouri Poison Center’s role in supporting rural healthcare providers, emergency responders, public health professionals, and community organizations. Participants will learn about common poisoning risks and exposure trends affecting rural populations, strategies for prevention and early intervention, and resources available through the Poison Center. The session will also highlight how access to expert toxicology guidance can support timely care and improve health outcomes in communities across Missouri.
