Webinar: A Systems Approach to Preparing the Health Workforce for Social Determinants of Health

When:  May 28, 2026 from 12:00 to 13:00 (CT)
This seminar offers a forward-thinking exploration of how the health workforce can be better prepared to address social determinants of health (SDOH) through coordinated, multisector action. Participants will use systems thinking to understand how SDOH emerge across health care, public health, social services, policy, and community environments—and how strategic workforce collaboration can drive meaningful change.

The session will highlight multisector strategies such as use-inspired research, public–private partnerships, and community collaboration to strengthen workforce readiness. Participants will also examine how technology-enabled solutions—such as integrated data systems, digital tools, and decision support platforms—can advance equity, prevention, and cross-sector coordination.

Designed for professionals committed to improving population health, this seminar emphasizes practical approaches for translating upstream insights into real-world impact.
