In this session, the Missouri Poison Center will discuss the urban-rural differences in exposure to poisonous substances and drug overdoses. Additionally, they will address how all residents in the state of Missouri can use the poison center as a first-line resource for first-aid information and questions regarding household products, medication, substances of abuse, and other potential poisons. Resources and educational ideas will also be discussed so that attendees can utilize them in the communities they serve.
