I have been in the mental health field in every capacity from direct care to private practice as an LPC over the past 30 years. I am widely known for my work in addictions and autism but my passion is trauma and I see nearly every mental health issue through that lens and how that affects both the brain and the body. In 2021 my stepson, Tristn, died of a fentanyl overdose. It was out of that we converted my private practice into a nonprofit model under his name. Our goal is to reach underserved rural areas to provide low cost, high quality mental health care. You can find more at our website: www.tjrecovery.org
